"Village" is a big word for Agios Antonios. It is actually not more than a couple of beaches and a couple of houses along a rocky shoreline in the north of Crete. This part of Crete is still undeveloped and undiscovered and here and there you will find small old stone houses that are for sale. Agios Antonios is situated above Elounda, a little east of Milatos, and it can be reached on the Agios Nikolaos - Elounda - Seles - Agios Antonios route. In Seles there is a road down to the coast to Kato Seles and Agios Antonios.
Agios Antonios lacks really good beaches (there are a few pebbly ones) so it is likely not to be caught up in the tourism development that takes place in large parts of the north of Crete. The few people that we saw swimming in the water were obviously locals and there were a "lost tourist" or two (plus us).
