The church of Agios Matheios is a small church that can be found near the village of Vrisses in the Apokoronas area in Crete. It is indicated by a sign at the side of the road and you can reach the church via a walkway through a kind of park that is around it.
I think that the church dates from the Byzantine time when many of these small churches were put down. The church itself is not particularly spectacular and has no dazzling frescoes and icons, and I would not specially make a detour for it, but the location is idyllic and it is a cute little church to see.
