The village of Apesokari on the island of Crete
Apesokari was the site of a Minoan cemetery and two ancient circular tombs have been excavated at the village. The first one was found by the Germans during World war II, the second one a little east of the first tomb was excavated at a later date.
Apesokari is a small village on the way from Agii Deka to Lendas on the southcoast, underneath the Messara Plain. It is situated at an altitude of 150 meters.
