Kotsifou Canyon is a gorge in southern Crete, just above Plakias and Selia, on the route to the north from Selia to Kanevos. The road here runs through a narrow slit in the mountains and there is huge wind: you must really hold on to everything because if you don't it will fly out of your hands. It is not without a reason that they have put up a warning sign here. In this place a nice stone church has been built which is partly carved into the rocks.
