The village of Sikia is located in the Lasithi district on the route from Makrigialos in the south to Sitia in the north. The village is easily reached via two exits from the main road and the distance to Sitia is about 17 kilometers. The village is also on a good bus route. Sikia is a quite a big village with a large village square, taverns, mini markets and some shops. The large Agios Stephanos church with its bell tower stands in its own square and has a memorial in front of it.
