Xamoudohori is a village in the northwest of Crete, a little south of Maleme (which is close to Kolimbari).
The distance to Chania is 19 kilometers.
In the north of the village of Xamoudohori is the Ioannis Chrysostomos church with a dome and a bell tower.
Ioannis Chrysostomos was an Archbishop of Constantinople, from February 26 398 to 403.
About 150 people live in Xamoudohori and there are many fields with olive trees and grapes in the area. In the center of the village is a kafenion.
