Skouros beach is one of the beaches in the vicinity of the village of Kastri, which is located in the south of the Heraklion district, between Keratokampos on one side (east) and the beaches of Dermatos and Tsoutsouros on the other side. Skouros beach is located at the edge of the village on the west side of the village beach itself where the large Agios Myron church stands. Skouros beach is a beautiful long sandy beach with fine sand and some rocks and pebbles, surrounded by tamarisk trees that give some shade. There are no sun beds or umbrellas for rent on the beach itself, but in the village of Kastri there are plenty of taverns where you can get something to drink or eat.
