Paraspori is an old village in the Lassithi district in the east of the island of Crete. The village is situated at an altitude of 350 meters and can be reached via the Sitia - Piskokefalo(exit) - Achladia - Paraspori route. The distance to Sitia is about 15 kilometers. In the area where Paraspori lies there are many water sources where water flows in from the mountains. Just outside Paraspori and signposted is the "Paraspori spring", a water source that can be reached via a staircase leading down from the road. The water source is surrounded by old and large trees.
